The junior club is asking for your help. We need to raise money to purchase 300 club branded footballs. Many of the balls currently being used in training sessions are well past their best and we’ve set a target of replacing at least half of them for the beginning of next season.
We’ll do this by way of a Goal-a-thon on Saturday, 3 August 2013.
How it works:
Each junior teams will play it’s normal Saturday game.
All goals scored in each game (both for and against) will count as the number of goals scored for the relevant Upper Hutt City Football team.
You can collect sponsorship on a “per goal” basis or a fixed donation.
If there are cancellations on 3 August, Goal-a-thon will roll over to the next playing Saturday.
All funds raised should be returned to your manager no later than Saturday, 24 August 2013.
Prizes:
As an incentive, Upper Hutt City Football is offering a digital camera for the person who raises the most individual sponsorship. There will also be 2nd, 3rd and 4th prizes of RYOS vouchers (www.ryos.co.nz)
What to do now:
If you are a junior player and haven’t already received a sponsorship form from your team coach or manager, you can download one here. Then start collecting sponsors!
